Technical Requirements

Certain requirements must be met to ensure that Certiport exams are delivered in a consistent, appropriate environment. Examine the requirements below by certification program to learn more about what it takes to become a Certiport Center.

MICROSOFT® OFFICE SPECIALIST EXAMS (MOS)

Requires a complete installation of the desired Office Suite version, installed to the default C: drive path. Only one Office Suite may be installed per machine.

Microsoft® Office XP Professional or Premium (SP3) – Word, Word Expert, Excel, Excel Expert, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Project – iQsystem Delivered Testing Only—Retiring on July 31st 2011

iQsystem uses concurrent technology which uses hard-coded paths and the registry inside your machine to run. Other software can manipulate these settings. We recommend if iQsystem is on a machine that the machine have as few other software applications installed as possible.
